The City of Potlatch is committed to transparency and providing access to public records in accordance with the Idaho Public Records Act (Idaho Code Title 74, Chapter 1).

How to Submit a Request
All requests for public records must be made in writing using the form at the bottom of this page. Please read all information on this page before submitting your request.

Note: Please be as specific as possible regarding the records you are seeking, including a date range and subject matter. This helps us locate your records efficiently.

Public records request must be submitted to the public records custodian, City Clerk, Harmony Nowack, by using the one of the following methods:​

Response Timeframes
Under I.C. § 74-103, the City will respond to your request within three (3) business days of receipt. If the request is complex or voluminous, we may extend the response time to ten (10) business days by providing you with written notice.

Important Legal Notices

Prohibited Use: Per I.C. § 74-120, public records may not be used as a mailing or telephone list for the purpose of presenting a commercial opportunity or advertising. Violation of this law is punishable by a civil penalty of up to $1,000.

Idaho Residency: Please indicate in your request if you are an Idaho resident. State law provides different response timelines for non-residents.
