Public Records Request The City of Potlatch is committed to transparency and providing access to public records in accordance with the Idaho Public Records Act (Idaho Code Title 74, Chapter 1). How to Submit a Request All requests for public records must be made in writing using the form at the bottom of this page. Please read all information on this page before submitting your request. If the request is complex or voluminous, we may extend the response time to ten (10) business days by providing you with written notice. Important Legal Notices Prohibited Use: Per I.C. § 74-120, public records may not be used as a mailing or telephone list for the purpose of presenting a commercial opportunity or advertising. Violation of this law is punishable by a civil penalty of up to $1,000. Idaho Residency: Please indicate in your request if you are an Idaho resident. City of Potlatch Comprehensive Plan What is a Comprehensive Plan ? All truly successful ventures require planning. If the City of Potlatch is to become what its citizens want, then the people of Potlatch must have a plan of how to get there. They must be assured that the City's government, as embodied in the City Council and Mayor, understands both the vision of the future and the plan to get there. The City of Potlatch's Comprehensive Plan is the official public statement of the City's planning goals, policies and objectives. These provide the guidelines that attempt to maintain and improve the quality of life enjoyed by those who live in Potlatch. The responsibility of maintaining and improving the qualify of life in the City is a responsibility shared jointly by the City's government officials and citizens alike.
